Kenny was born in Columbia, Missouri and still resides there. Beth turned Kenny in to a honest man January 2008. Kenny is 25 years old and has a dog named, Gus!!
Kenny has driven for Ed Kosiski Racing since 2006. Kenny races at I-80 Speedway in Omaha, NE. Kenny competes against 30-40 experienced drivers at I-80 Speedway on a weekly basis. Kenny is a two-time Late Model winner in 2007 NASCAR Whelen All American Series. He finished 11th in points in the Crate Late Model division in 2006. Kenny was honored with Rookie of the Year Award. Kenny also received an award for The Best Appearing Car by fan vote. He raced in the Grand National division during the second half of season and finished in the top 10 almost weekly. Kenny competed in Super Late Model division and finished first in Cage Kart debut.
In 2006 Kenny tested a NASCAR Craftsman Truck at North Carolina Speedway. Consistent increase of lap times during the 2-day practice period. Kenny also practiced in a Silver Crown car at Memphis Motor Speedway and accomplished competitive lap times in first 20 laps of practice. Kenny was invited to compete in the races in 2007.
In 2005-2006 Kenny raced at I-70 Speedway in Odessa, MO. When the season ended Kenny finished 9th in the Super Truck Division. Kenny had multiple top 5 finishes at I-70 Speedway. When Kenny competed in Super Stock division he finished every race in the top 5.
